"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is the sixth episode of the third season of film review web series Half in the Bag, and 43rd episode in the series overall. The episode aired December 19, 2012 on Blip.[1]

In this episode, Mr. Plinkett challenges Mike and Jay to movie trivia.

PlotEdit

After learning that Mike and Jay are not film experts, Mr. Plinkett challenges the duo to a movie trivia game, hoping to humiliate the two. However, the three soon discover the game is supernatural and each correct answer causes VHS tapes to materialize in Plinkett's house.

Summary and ReviewEdit

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the first film in a new trilogy of films from director Peter Jackson. Now, you've probably seen The Lord of the Rings films unless you've been living under a rock, but The Hobbit is based on an earlier, shorter book written by legendary author, J.K. Rowling. This makes The Hobbit technically a prequel and thus pointless.

Follow the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and a group of dwarves as they attempt to reclaim their dwarven kingdom from the clutches of an evil dragon named Smaug.

— Mike Stoklasa
