"The Devil Inside and Flyin' Ryan" is the second episode of the second season of film review web series Half in the Bag, and 23rd episode in the series overall. The episode aired January 17, 2012 on Blip.[1][2]

In this episode, Mike and Jay murder Mr. Plinkett in order to claim the payout of his life insurance policy.[2]

PlotEdit

While snooping around Mr. Plinkett's house, Mike and Jay come across Plinkett's life insurance policy. Deciding to name themselves as the beneficiaries, the two unscrupulous repairmen murder Plinkett in the park. Struck by a pang of conscience, Mike worries they went too far.

As the duo signs the policy, Plinkett arrives and takes the insurance policy away. Baffled by Plinkett's apparent resurrection, Mike and Jay discover that, in a horrific case of mistaken identity, they murdered Margaret Thatcher, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Summary and ReviewEdit

The Devil InsideEdit

The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William something something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer ... somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies and be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off-kilter budget-to-profit ratio that the general public seems to be stupidly unaware of. These films used to be called direct-to-video, but now they are called first-run features. These films then vanish from the theaters like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime.
—Mike Stoklasa

Flyin' RyanEdit

Flyin' Ryan was a user-suggested film that we watched on Mr. Plinkett's VCR. It is a glorious film from 2003, apparently shot on digital video without a 24p film look...
—Mike Stoklasa
