"Halloween Commentary Track" is the fourth audio commentary track from film review web series Half in the Bag, and was released between episodes 2 and 3 of the fifth season. The track was released October 15, 2014 on Bandcamp, and features extensive discussion and commentary on 1978 horror film classic by John Carpenter, Halloween.[1][2]

In this audio commentary, Mike, Jay, and their friend Rich Evans watch and discuss Halloween.[2]

PlotEdit

In the spirit of the Halloween season, Mike, Jay, and Rich from Half in the Bag watch and discuss the 1978 Halloween film, its legacy and the film franchise and countless ripoffs the movie spawns, and the remake series by Rob Zombie.

Promotional VideoEdit

In the promotional video, Mike and Jay give a brief overview of their commentary track for Halloween. They are suddenly stalked by a miniature Michael Myers, who stumbles into a chair.

IN ORDER TO SYNC WITH THE FILM: Start the commentary immediately when the camera fades up on the pumpkin at the start of the film's opening credits. This commentary track is intended to sync up with the film's original theatrical cut.

"Halloween Commentary Track" is the fourth released Half in the Bag commentary track, following "Alien vs. Predator", "Samurai Cop", and "Ghostbusters II", but is the fifth commentary track recorded. An unknown commentary track, originally to follow "Ghostbusters II", was not released due to audio issues. The commentary is intended for the theatrical cut of Halloween, which has a run time of 91 minutes.[5]

The commentary track and the promotional video were released October 15, 2014 on Bandcamp and YouTube, respectively.[1][2]
