"Star Trek: Generations Review" is a 2008 video review of Star Trek: Generations written and edited by Mike Stoklasa, featuring the character Harry S. Plinkett. It is the first Mr. Plinkett Reviews produced and the first of five full-length reviews focusing on Star Trek. The review was originally released on YouTube on December 12, 2008 as three separate videos, combined as a single video for release on Myspace as "Star Trek Fail" on December 18, 2008. This version was reuploaded to Blip on May 5, 2010.

Star Trek: Generations is a 1994 science fiction film directed by David Carson and written by Ronald D. Moore and Brannon Braga. It is the seventh film released in the Star Trek franchise and first to feature the cast of the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. The film depicts the death of Captain Kirk and features cameos from part of the Star Trek: The Original Series cast.
