"Pixels" is the sixteenth episode of the fifth season of film review web series Half in the Bag, and 92nd episode in the series overall. The episode aired July 27, 2015 on YouTube.[1][2]

In this episode, Mike and Jay attempt to extract a safe combination from their bosses, Rich and Jack, but they get sidetracked by a discussion about Pixels.

Plot[]

After seeing Pixels with Rich and Jack, Mike and Jay realize that their bosses have no intention of compensating them for their work. Although Mike tries to slyly extract the passcode to the company safe, he and Jay become sidetracked by a discussion about Pixels.

Rich and Jack gleefully fire Mike and Jay from the video game repair shop, but allow the duo to collect their things. As the unscrupulous video repair shop owners chortle, a snow-blind and angry Mr. Plinkett arrives to exact vengeance on Mike and Jay. Plinkett brutally murders Rich and Jack, and Mike and Jay return from cracking the safe to a bloodbath. Aware that Plinkett wants to murder them, Mike and Jay then pose as two different VCR repairmen and convince Plinkett to hire them for a VCR repair job. The duo celebrates the resumption of their VCR scam.

Summary and Review[]

Pixels is the new Adam Sandler ... comedy [...] and everyone phones in their performance except for Brian Cox, who somehow is a professional still.
