"Complaining at the Post Office about the Price of Stamps" is the first episode of the third season of the 789 Films animated web series, Mr. Plinkett: The Animated Series, and 13th episode of the series overall. It aired September 15, 2013 on Blip.[1][2] The episode was animated and edited by Shaun McKinnon, combining preexisting voice-work by Mike Stoklasa and RedLetterMedia productions to create a unified story.[3]

In this episode, Mr. Plinkett's visit to the post office induces a hallucination. The episode is solely narrated by Mr. Plinkett and no supporting characters have speaking roles.

At the post office, Mr. Plinkett is angered by the slow service. Ranting and questioning his sanity, Plinkett has a vivid flashback to his days in the 1960s, where he interacts with Charles Manson, a room full of different Charlies, and Miley Cyrus. As Plinkett stirs from his hallucination, he finds the post office covered in blood.

In a post-credits scene, Will Smith and his family look shocked.

Sources for the audio used in the episode are from various RedLetterMedia productions. The incidental music was captured from 1955 short film, A Word to the Wives.[4]

The episode aired September 15, 2013 exclusively on Blip.[1][2]
